  1. Can you give us an update on your life since that tragic day? Are you remarried?

  2. I've just watched your segment on ID. Living in middle TN, my entire life, I had read about your husband in the paper. I applaud your strength. Its a damn shame that such a tragedy had to happen. I can only imagine what all that put you through. God bless you, Nikki.

  3. Nikki, I am incredibly sorry for your loss. I have been a police officer for almost 20 years and you were absolutely right when you said the criminal justice system failed you-in my line of work, I constantly see plea bargains and deals that make me sick!!! You appear to be a very strong woman-strength I'm sure you draw from your loving husbands memory. May God Bless You and always keep you safe!!!

  4. Your story moved me to tears. I too watched you on ID last night and wow. My heard bled for you and for your wonderful Ben. It takes a lifetime to find your one true love and then to have him snatched away so suddenly is just something I don't believe I could bear. My prayers are with you and I think your outspoken support for gun rights is amazing. You are absolutely right about guns and your resentments are valid. Our government is letting us down and I'm so happy to hear that I'm not the only woman who believes the way I do. Thank you Nikki for your hard work and determination.

    1. I'm kind of amazed it is still playing on TV. It was filmed several years ago in London England. I'm glad it has reached so many people (especially women) and has made them think about their own safety. Thank you for the kind message. :)
